Mood Board
My mood board consists of different names I may be calling my magazine, they also have different fonts and colours so when it comes to making my front cover I will know straight away which font and colour I will want to use. Also on my mood board I have put some clothes on it that I want the person on the front of my magazine to be wearing. In the top right hand corner I have put things on there that I believe the target audience will like varying from twitter/Facebook, McDonalds and make up. Underneath that I have 5 pop artists all stood differently, these are the stances I am considering my model standing like on the front page of my magazine as the main image. Finally underneath that I have 4 different pop magazines so when it comes to making my front cover I can look at them to see what conventions I should be putting on my front cover.
What i think the model on the front cover of my final magazine should be wearing to follow the conventions of a pop magzine.
Here are 16 separate pieces of clothing. When doing my
research on other pop magazines I realised that these was the kind of clothes
that the pop artist wear on the front covers. I thought about what kind of
clothing that my target audience would wear but what is also affordable for he
public. All of these pieces of clothing is from local stores and are
affordable. I think putting my model is clothing that is affordable and stylish
this will entice them into reading my magazine.
My second google mock up Front Page and Contents page
On my second Google mock up contents page I thought that I would follow the conventions of other pop magazines contents pages by putting the front cover on the contents page. After doing this i decided that his was a good idea and I am now considering putting that on my final contents page as it is very conventional but on my first Google mock up contents page I didn't do this. I looked at other contents pages and I saw that they put another big image of something that would be on the inside of the magazine, after doing this I realised I didn't like it and I would not be including this on my final piece.
